Youth need a variety of opportunities to begin building STEM skills that match their potential and improve their awareness through building projects. Capstone Engineering Academy includes hands-on lessons designed to take students step-by-step through the techniques and skills as an introduction to engineering and technology. Students use math, science, technology, creativity and innovation to solve problems solve from the real world.
Students will work on projects and learn in a structured and laboratory environment with our Lab of Discovery, a new Science Lab and our Machine Lab. This program is perfect for youth who are seeking more experience and knowledge in the application of science and math in an engineering and technology based education.
Classes will cover the following:
Science – Junior High school curriculum with hands on experiments in our laboratories.
Computers – Understanding computers and their applications, including CAD, programming, graphics design, CGI and others.
CTF Programs – Student directed technology projects that meet Junior High school curriculum requirements with hands on projects in our laboratories.
Engineering – Hands on projects in our Laboratory of Discovery using
